I need to find a laser printer somewhere so I can download and print all six parts of this free, open-source toolkit “created to assist those organizations providing services for communities in need.” Created by IDEO and the Gates Foundation among others.
At a glance it looks to be a road-map in how to setup and/or assist organizations who aim to benefit those in less fortunate countries.
I am extremely impressed with the new Carsonified.com that Ryan and team just launched in the last week or so.
Super clean, without bloat, illustrative without looking cartoon-y, and some fantastic team pages to boot.
Not that I’m surprised, their stuff is always spot on. Also, if someone’s looking for a nice Labor Day gift for me and hasn’t found just the right thing yet; I’d take some plane/event tickets for their Future of Web Design (FOWD) Conference.
I’d tell you to get your TiVo’s set but I kind of enjoy the fact that most don’t watch it for some strange reason. But I will start to wonder how you could possibly not begin watching after seeing the season 3 promo: (more…)
